I hope your Thanksgiving was just as wonderful as mine. I got to spend time with my sister, my nephew, and my mother. We haven't done that in years and I feel so blessed we were able to this year. My mom did all the cooking thankfully. My sister and nephew brought over dessert but abandoned it once they saw the cake I'd ordered from Double D's Delectables in Stafford, VA. Some may say it's not a traditional cake for Thanksgiving, and I would agree with that. However, I'm not one who follows ALL traditions. I ordered a peach and vanilla ciroc cake surrounded by peach ciroc jello-shots. That cake didn't stand a chance lol. I started "undressing" it so I could get a slice immediately (before my sister even saw it lol). But somehow I got distracted from this "work of art" and forgot about my slice. By the time my sister arrived, she made me put the "clothes" back on it because she wanted to see it all dressed up. My mouth is still watering......that cake was so GOOD!!!! It wasn't too sweet, not too much alcohol. It was delicious! I'm telling ya.....if you're in the DMV, you need to check her out.
